FAQs

If you have any questions or queries regarding mohdoh, the FAQ's below may help you find the answer.

What is mohdoh?
mohdoh is a range of vibrant mouldable medicines, which have been developed to combat a variety of ailments through play therapy, colour therapy and aromatherapy. There are six products in the range, each of which tackle different symptoms, from travel sickness to anxiety. Each product in the range uses the same unique combination of therapies to create the perfect remedy for both adults and children in a fun and absorbing way.

How does mohdoh work?
mohdoh works by providing an exciting and interactive way to deliver carefully selected blends of essential oils, helping to treat both adults and children naturally rather than having to rely on conventional medicines. The expertly blended formula works in three ways:

  1. As the dough is kneaded, essential oils are not only vaporised and inhaled, but also absorbed through the skin. The concentration of oils is controlled to ensure that mohdoh is both safe and effective.
  2. At the same time the carefully selected colour of the dough will help to balance the energy centres that are out of harmony.
  3. The synergistic effects of touch and smell have been shown to be very effective in treating a number of stress related complaints (as with massage) and the tactile nature of the dough has in itself a soothing, calming effect.

It's these three therapeutic elements that make mohdoh such a powerful holistic therapy.

What are the benefits of using aromatherapy with children?
Aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical wellbeing. It's also great for children,  unobtrusive, easy to administer, versatile, produces no damaging side effects and it's benefits have been proven through thousands of years of use. The same cannot be said for conventional medication.

Is mohdoh safe for my child to use?
mohdoh is totally safe for use with adults and children, but like with many products, we do advise that children under three are not left to use mohdoh alone. The aromatherapy oils used in each mohdoh product have been carefully controlled to ensure mohdoh is both safe and effective.

mohdoh is 100 per cent non toxic, complies with EN71 and uses only the purest natural essential oils, which all carry the ECOCERT certification.

How many products are there in the range and what are their different uses?
There are currently six products in the range, but more are being developed all the time. The current range consists of:

No Worries - Gently calms and relieves worry
Smart - Stimulates and improve concentration
Are We There Yet? - Relieves travel anxiety and nausea
Calm - Relaxes those constantly on the go
Breathe - Provides comfort from coughs and colds
40 Winks - Aids restful sleep

What is colour therapy?
Colour therapy is a holistic and non-intrusive form of healing, which introduces the optimum balance of colour energies into the human organism in order to promote harmony between the body, mind and spirit.

Colour has a profound effect on us on all levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If our energy centres (Chakras) become blocked or depleted, then our body cannot function properly and this, in turn, can lead to a variety of problems.

Using the colours of the spectrum, colour therapy aims to balance and enhance our body's energy centres (Chakras) and also helps to stimulate our body's own healing process.

How long will my mohdoh last?
mohdoh has a life cycle of approximately three months. It must be kept in the air tight container provided when not in use and stored in a cool, dark place. The aroma of the oils will fade after approximately three months. It is important to NEVER add new oils to the dough as the oils used in mohdoh have been carefully selected and measured to ensure the maximum benefits are received.
